Happy and feel more at peace knowing that we now have Class 4 shingles that are designed to withstand severe hail and wind conditions. The house and backyard were kept clean, free of debris and free of nails because they use the Catch-All Net System. I’m not afraid of our doggie getting hurt by debri or nails. Very pleasant to work with and explained everything nicely.

Outstanding work, excellent crew! They got our roof done in a day. We were in regular communication so we knew what was going on. They worked with our insurance company to help us get the work done. They even swept up all the leaves on our walkways and porch (we are in no physical condition to do that). Everything is better than it was before. I highly recommend A Star Roofing of Texas!

Jimbo and Shelby run A Star Roofing of Texas from North Richland Hills. The company was established in 2023, but the two of them have worked with the same roofing crews for over 15 years. Most roofs are installed, repaired or replaced in a single day, and your yard is protected with catch-all nets and finished with a magnetic nail sweep.

Jimbo's past insurance experience means we can work with your insurance company, document damage with photos, and meet your adjuster. Deductible financing is available. When possible we install Class 4 impact resistant roofs, which often lower homeowners insurance payments, and all of our work is backed by a written warranty.

Yes. A Star Roofing of Texas provides free, certified, no-obligation roof inspections. Jimbo and/or Shelby visit your property, inspect the roof, take photos to document any damage for your insurance company, and then recommend work based on your specific needs.
How long does it take to install a new roof?
We get a roof installed, repaired or replaced in one day in most cases, so you are quickly protected against extreme Texas weather.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. A Star Roofing of Texas is fully licensed and insured and in compliance with Texas regulations. We also hold a general contractor's license.
Are you certified by the manufacturer of the materials you use?
Yes. A Star Roofing of Texas is GAF certified. We prefer GAF roofing materials and also install Atlas and CertainTeed products.
